Here it is: the industry’s first all-in, complete engine swap package for a K series. KPower have carried out the development and a huge amount of testing, making changes and improvements every step of the way. This package includes everything they have proven out in their K24 BRZ test car for many months. It fits all 2013-2020 BRZ, FR-S, and 86 manual transmission vehicles. This package provides all aftermarket parts for a complete K24 conversion in your vehicle. Just add an engine, some OEM parts, and some assembly time, and your 86 will be transformed into the car it should have been from the factory.

Over the years KPower have made improvements and added a few options. You can choose 3 different oil pan options: the KPower PRB oil pan or the 9 quart monstrous Unit2 Fabrication 86 K swap oil pan which both use the K20 oil pump conversion, with the 3rd option you can reduce engine vibration with the KPower RBB oil pan which works with the ultra smooth stock K24 RBB balance shaft oil pump (weld-in plate included with oil pan, or purchase our pre-modified subframe).

The 86 Haltech Electronics Package has been a staple of most 86 K swap builds since the kit was released. KPower are proud to now offer a Link GT86 Electronics Package. Just like the Haltech Electronics Package, this Link Electronics Package is pre-wired for A/C and an oil pressure & temperature combination sensor. For the Link option, they have gone the extra mile to ensure customers seeking turbo power are ready for a streamlined wire harness. That’s why this harness also has connections for a mac boost solenoid to control internal and external wastegates, an ethanol flex fuel sensor connector, and also features a fluid pressure sensor connector for monitoring fuel pressure.

Important Notes:

  • All products are designed for off-road motorsports use only. Users are responsible for complying with all local laws in their county, state, and country.
  • KPower’s engine wiring harness is designed for 2004-2008 K24A sensors, including the crank sensor, knock sensor, and injectors. It is also wired for a 2006-2008 Acura TSX A/C compressor. All K24 compressors are not the same.
  • If you plan on using injectors other than OEM K24A injectors, please specify at checkout and we’ll swap in the appropriate injector sub-harness free of charge. 
  • These engine mounts bolt to the following engines: JDM K24A RBB, K24A2, K24A3, K24A4, K20Z3, K20Z4, and the less desirable K24A8. They do NOT fit K20A2, K20Z1, or K24A1 blocks due to incompatible bolt-hole locations on the left side of the block. These mounts can be used as a starting point however, read more about this topic in KPower’s blog.

Installation notes for Link ECU users:

  • Remove the carbon fiber ECU cover plate:
    • Change the bridge connectors from “Primary Injection Mode” from “OEM-DI” to “PORT. Once completed, reinstall the carbon fibre cover plate.

  • Some K24 engines may require changing Cam/Crank Trigger Setup from “Honda K24 VTC” to “Honda K20 VTC.”  If the engine will not start, this is a good starting point.
