BMW’s F-chassis 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series and their M counterparts (M2/M3/M4) all share a flaw – that is the plastic handbrake cable bracket found towards the rear of the car.

This bracket is a common failure, causing the handbrake cables to drop towards the propshaft and create some very unpleasant noises. While it is possible to simple replace it with a BMW plastic piece again, or one of the multiple cheap steel parts available, the ultimate fix is our billet repair kit.

Other repair kits, including BMW’s own, require the fuel tank to be lowered from the car for access. Ours has been designed for easy fitment without having to disturb the fuel tank and is a true fit and forget upgrade; with our new V2 update now being made right here in Sussex.
