The humble Hillman Imp combines superbly with BMW’s K100, K1100 and K1200 engines with some great swap components available.

During the build process of our own K100 16v powered Sunbeam Imp Sport, we commissioned a number of these superb stainless steel exhaust manifolds – perfect for the Imp swap as they reverse the outlet direction and promise improved performance and durability over the original BMW runners. The original BMW runners can be rotated but are too long and are prone to cracking – making them best suited for the scrap bin when performing one of these swaps.

These UK-made manifolds feature OE-style flanges in stainless steel, and are fully TIG-welded with a 2″ outlet for the silencer of your choice. There is also a lambda thread in the final merge for accurate AFR readings. Created in association with Clark’s BMW-IMP Conversions.
