The Front Carrier Panel (often known as the Nav Tower) on BMW’s F900GS is a known weakpoint, often cracking or completely breaking in half from the vibration and forces of general use.

BMW have identified this and updated the part to feature additional reinforcements around the usual cracking points for a far more durable piece – see images of a broken original part vs the updated new part.
