To transport air to the brake ventilation backing plates, a suitable intake is essential. The M2 F87 doesn’t have factory intake ducts in the front bumper like the M2 Competition F87, for example. However, your car does have two coolers on the sides behind the bumper! So why not utilize the existing airflow?

To prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel arches after the radiators, Speed Engineering developed a guide duct that can be installed with minimal effort. It guides the air around the wheel and connects it to the outlet via a 40 cm long hose (per side). Tests have shown that this prevents significant back pressure from building up behind the radiator, and at extreme speeds and increasing pressure, the ducts do not pose any obstacles to the escaping air behind the radiator.
