This is a 3D-printed plate which blanks the secondary air pump flange of a BMW S54 cylinder head.
These plates are crucial to engine safe keeping when they are in storage or being transported as they prevent dust and debris entering the head. The plates are manufactured in our additive manufacturing sector. The plates are made from Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) which is a biodegradable plastic made from renewable natural resources. We chose PLA due to its property of being tough, and for its dimensional accuracy.
