Many 2019 onward BMW and BMW MINI DMEs (ECUs) are locked from the factory, meaning that they cannot be remapped or edited without an specialist unlock procedure. Thankfully, due to state of the art facilities at Hack Engineering, we are able to unlock these ahead of mapping (which we also offer for many applications). If you are unsure as to whether your DME requires unlocking, simply contact us.

We can also unlock other brand vehicles, contact us to enquire. Please note that at this time, we cannot bench unlock DMEs for vehicles built in June 2020 an onwards – however, we can arrange this via FEMTO.

This listing and pricing is purely to unlock the DME – any additional labour to access, remove/refit the DME etc is charged additionally.
