Many BMW/MINI vehicles produced from June 2020 onwards have ECUs that cannot be re-mapped, and until recently unlocking them has been an excessively costly procedure. Now, thanks to our partners at AutoTuner, we can unlock these ECUs ready for mapping in a far quicker and more cost effective manner.

We ship your ECU to AutoTuner in a specially made ECU shipping box via insured courier services, and oversee the unlocking and safe return. As AutoTuner are based in mainland Europe, VAT and import fees apply – but we handle all of that for you. If you’re unsure as to whether your ECU is compatible with these services, just contact us.

In other great news, dealer software updates no longer affect the unlock.

We can of course also offer mapping services (priced separately). AutoTuner guarantee that this unlock is compatible with their tuning tools (as used by us), but cannot guarantee compatibility with tools like Bootmod3. This service applies to a single ECU only. If your vehicle has two ECUs, you’ll need to purchase the service separately for each unit.
