MRT Engineering Steering Rack Stops (E36 3 Series inc M3, E46 3 Series)

Steering rack stops are required with custom front geometry setups where steering angle is increased or control arm design will limit maximum steering angle. These rack stops will limit steering rack maximum angle to avoid the wheel hitting the chassis or control arms.
Fits steering racks with 27mm/28mm diameter shaft, CNC machined in black Delrin.
3 different length options:
- 18mm (for roll-centre / bump steer / angle kits with stock control arms, drift applications)
- 25mm (for roll-centre / bump steer / angle kits with stock control arms or RACE control arm kits without quick steering adapter, circuit applications)
- 32mm (for RACE control arm kits with quick steering adapter, circuit applications)

Description
MRT Engineering Steering Rack Stops for E36 3 Series including M3 and E46 3 Series.
The kit can be used with E36 non-M, E36 M3 and E46 non-M steering racks, please confirm diameters if used with any other models. NOTE: Driver and passenger sides are generally different sizes.
3 different lengths available for most common setups with standard wheel backspacing. If you’re unsure which length you need, pick the longer one as you can always shorten the rack stop if more steering angle can be used.
Available sizes:
- D27mm + D28mm (18mm length)
- D27mm + D28mm (25mm length)
- D27mm + D28mm (32mm length)
Tie rod inner ends need to be removed to slide these onto the steering rack, no special tools or other modifications are needed.
