Nitron Shocks Development – With Our F900GS!
Nitron need absolutely no introduction as one of the world’s premier performance suspension manufacturers. Although we may be biased, we believe the BMW F900GS to be one of the most exciting adventure bikes of the past decade, and so were happy to offer it to Nitron for development of their excellent upgrades.

Our bike is a non-Enduro Pro Pack bike, however having read mixed reviews of the Enduro Pro suspension, we had thoughts of a Nitron collab since taking delivery of it. After all, if you’re going to spend money on a suspension upgrade, why not turn to the best! Nitron borrowed our F900GS for a few weeks to assess the bike, develop its upgrades and test them. The result is three excellent upgrades:
Nitron TVT25 ADV Fork Cartridge Upgrade
Nitron TVT Adjustable Fork Cartridge Kits offer the same level of improvements in rider control, performance and comfort that have become the trademark of the Nitron product. The system features a large bore 25mm piston which provides significant improvements in performance over the OEM set up. Independent adjustment of rebound (right fork) and compression damping (left fork) is both easy to use and extremely effective. The TVT25 Adventure Fork Cartridge Kits have all of the same features as the TVT25, but with the addition of a hydraulic bottom out control system to avoid harsh impacts when landing from jumps, along with internal settings designed specifically for adventure bikes.

Nitron R1 and R3 Rear Shock Upgrades
Specifically designed and built for Dual Sport and Adventure bikes, the Adventure Series shocks offer exceptional year-round road and trail performance like no other. Using billet aluminium components, Adventure shocks vastly improve the ride/handling of the bike at a significantly reduced weight compared to a standard shock. Adventure shocks feature heavy-duty 16mm rods and a high-flow 46mm piston, both of which are custom tuned and developed for the demands of long-haul road commutes through to Paris-Dakar style endurance events.

The Nitron R1 shock features combined compression and rebound adjustment in one adjuster. Unlike many shock absorbers that only tune rebound, this allows for true optimisation for your riding style and whatever terrain you’re looking to tackle. This is a neat, simple package and is shown below with the optional Hydraulic Preload Adjuster. The bike you see here is our F900GS in its final form, as we opted for this very shock.

The Nitron R3 shock has adjustment for high and low speed compression, and a single rebound adjuster for optimal performance. This is the shock to go for if you are looking for the absolute ultimate in shock absorber performance and adjustability. Tailored to high-profile riders, the NTR ADV R3 shock’s performance is achieved through accurate control of its 3-way independent damping. Instant feedback is transmitted from the rear wheel, allowing the limits of traction to be confidently explored. It is defined by its external reservoir as seen below.
