2-disc clutch kit for B58 BMW engines with manual gearbox.

The configuration with two organic friction discs is designed for a torque of up to 1000 Nm.

The configuration with an organic and a friction disc made of sintered metal can withstand a torque of up to 1200 Nm.

Data:

• This set comes with the original pressure plate, therefore there is no increased pressure point on the clutch pedal.
• The axial bearings of the crankshaft are protected and a reinforced release bearing is also not necessary.

What is disadvantageous about this set and where is the catch?

• The conversion to the single mass flywheel can lead to gear noise (as with any EMS set)
• When the throw-out bearing is pressed, the free intermediate disc can be heard (this noise is hardly audible and only occurs sporadically)
