When sister company Koflach Engine Developments was launched in 2016, it needed a development vehicle for the planned S54 camshafts and other products. This 2004 E46 M3 was bought as an engine-less rolling shell. It already had some good parts fitted but was in a sorry state.

Naturally we tore it down and started a-fresh. The rear axle was completely overhauled, and new suspension was fitted front and rear. The engine is the main event with this car – the rest of it remains a pleasant road M3, without too many clues as to what lies beneath.
